Too colorful cloths should not be used as they attract the attention to the portion which one wants to hide. Black or dark blue colors make one look thin. To look thin knee length skirts are good. Too short skirts show the fat legs and too long skirts show the thick ankles. The pockets should not be filled up as it looks bulky.
Legs can look longer and hence slimmer. Oil can be applied on the middle part of the leg to make the leg bone shine and hence look the leg longer.
There are some make up tricks to look thinner. Tanning the body makes it look thinner. Tanning the lower parts of cheeks makes the face look thinner. For tanning the body sun exposure is good. To tan the face tanning creams can be used. Eye make up can be used to make the eyes look bigger and the face look smaller.
The right posture also adds to looks thin. Standing or sitting straight, shoulders held back, head straight and stomach pushed in make look thinner.
In general to look thinner cloths should be such that they highlight the thinner part of the body.
