Eyes are the most attractive and most noticed feature in the face. They are expressive, they express feelings and therefore they always look appealing and therefore also called the windows to the soul.

A properly done make up helps in enhancing natural beauty and the neat looks make the person more confident. Make up for eyes involves many steps and properly done eye make up adds a lot to the face.

A good quality under eye concealer can be used to cover the dark circles. This should be one shade lighter than the foundation to be used. Three dots of concealer should be placed below the eye and from inside out the concealer should be applied till the color blends with that of the skin. Oil based concealers should not be used because they tend to settle down in the lines below the eyes and make the circles evident.

The eye shadow is also an important thing in eye make up, it enhances the charm of the eyes. The color of he eye shadow should not match with the color of the eyes but it should be balancing. The color of the eye shadow should be such that it should match with the skin tone. The eye color and the lip color should go along. They are available in matted, semi-matted and powdered form. For eyelids medium tone is good and a lighter is good for highlighting. Cream eye shadows can cause creasing but can be used on neutral powder shadow. Eye shadow should be applied in sweeping motion along the eye lid.

Eyeliners are available in pencil and liquid form and one should chose that one with which she is comfortable. The eyeliner can be applied only to the top lid or both the lids. The liner should be applied to the top lid first and the eye line too the top lid should be heaviest possible. The eye liner should be used from inside corner of the eye, along the eye lashes and across the border of the eye. The eye liner should not be used on only the outside part of the eye; it makes the eye look smaller than it is. The eye liner should not be applied beyond the corner of the eye.

Finally the mascara can be applied on the eyelashes. Thick layer of mascara should be applied and second layer should be applied only after drying the first one completely.

Apart from make up diet rich in vitamin A and C is good for beautiful eyes.
