Beauty Solutions for Aged People For Skin Care

The skin becomes more sensitive in old age; hence it demands a lot of care and attention. Menopause normally happens gradually between 45 and 55 years of age. After menopause the amount of estrogen produced by a woman slows down dramatically. As a result changes occur in the skin, which is highly sensitive to estrogen. Older people have to deal with the normal aging process of the skin. In aged women and men, the skin dries and thins because the sebaceous glands slow down and even gathers pace. The elastin fibers lose their structure, the dermis becomes less resilient, and the skin becomes wrinkled and sags. It is never too late to take care of the skin, no matter of what age group you belong to.

Here are some beauty solutions for improving your age beauty with proper skin care.

As you grow older, the skin becomes dry. You must exfoliate the skin. This will remove dead skin cells. The cell division will increase and will perform more youthfully. If you use almond scrub and tap the skin then also the cell division will increase.

Apply face pack once a week. This will prove to be very beneficial. Take a teaspoon of whipped cream, a few drops of lavender oil and a pinch of alum. Mix them together and apply this mixture. Leave it for about 20 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.

If you want to enhance your age beauty then mix a few drops of patchouli oil with almond oil and apply it day and night and then use a moisturizer. Regularly clean your face with some mild soap twice or thrice a day. You should take care of your skin by keeping it always clean. You should wash your feet, armpits etc with water and soap taking proper care. Bathing regularly is necessary for healthy skin.

Keep your skin hydrated by drinking lot of water and fruit juice. When your skin gets dehydrated it becomes dry and cracks. In order to maintain its elasticity you should drink more than 8 glasses of water per day.

Aged people get more prone to feet problems. They get problems like corns, warts, fungal infection, blisters etc. You should consult doctor for such things. However what you can do at home is cleaning your feet with warm water. Remember to wash your nails properly!

In Rainy season you need to take more care of your skin because you get muddy water on your feet which contain germs. Your skin thus gets infected. You should wash it with some antiseptic in water.

If you want to shine with your age beauty then prevent your skin from sun burning. For this avoid getting out in heavy sunlight. If you get exposed to sun when the sun is on the top your skin is likely to burn or get dark. To protect your skin from sunburn, you should apply some lotion and were hat, use umbrella etc.

Skin is very sensitive organ. Don’t itch it if you feel like itching. Itching spoils the beauty of your skin. Massage your skin with Vitamin E oil. Vitamin E is vital for skin.

Winter-skin needs special care

Freezing cold and sudden temperature changes, dry heated air – which makes the skin to create in the winter. What she needs now is the right protection and consistent care

The skin as an outer shell is our definition, meaning and protects the institution. Reason enough, therefore, their greater attention must be given. For the winter pleasures like walks in the snowy environment, and especially the winter sports bring to the skin – dangers and burden.

Even the winter sun’s power

First is in this context, the proper sun protection, because the sun can be very intense, especially if you go to winter sports in the higher regions. For sports and playing outdoors should therefore be paid to an adequate sun protection. Skin reacts to UV radiation as they are much more sensitive. The protection should be tailored to your own skin type. Particularly sensitive to light are those with a very light skin tone, blond or red hair and blue eyes. The self-protection time of this so-called “Celtic” type, is about 5 -10 minutes. To extend this time is therefore a necessary preparation with a relatively high sun protection factor.

The skin needs fat and moisture

The dry air removes moisture from the skin, in the cold reduces the skin blood flow. Both can lead to tensions the skin to itch and scaling. Therefore, the skin must be protected from the cold. A favorite trick is therefore to provide the care plan in the winter for the skin on its head: At night, use the moisturizing day cream and oily skin food during the day. For outdoor sports you can apply a special protection against the cold balm. It contains fatty substances that are hard even at low temperatures. If one, however, pause in closed, warm rooms, it is advisable to wipe off those drugs. Otherwise it can get under the skin on the oily film on an uncomfortable heat buildup. But do not forget: Prior’s starts up again, apply lotion all over again. After the outdoor activities skin will need moisture. Preparations with moisturizing agents counteract the drying of the upper skin layers.

To keep lips soft and supple

A very special tip about the lips. For the lips have no sebaceous or sweat glands, which could provide oil and moisture. In addition, a robust horny layer is almost entirely lacking. Therefore lips are so fragile and brittle, especially in winter when cold, add them and air dry. Therefore, lip balm is so important. Simply go to the nursing pins. Thus, a balm can muster alongside the film of grease or other substances on the lips, for example, anti-inflammatory or moisturizing. Because the lips are highly sensitive to the sun, are particularly useful sun protection factors. While it is recommended to stay in the mountains a sun protection factor of 10, enough for daily use, the factor of 3. Especially for winter sports enthusiasts, there are sun protection pastes – even in color – which offer a total sun protection. However, they are visible on the lips, which can be varied depending on the selected color and a deliberate fashion gag. Also for the daily care, lipsticks come in various colors. For the contradiction between color and care must be. It’s all a question of the appropriate ingredients.

There are several skin care steps which should be followed in winter. Clothing in winter is also important for skin care. Warm, layered and long sleeved cloths are helpful in caring for skin in winter. Gloves can be worn to protect hands from cold and dry weather. Along with moisturizer sunscreen also should be applied. Sometimes moisturizers contain sunscreens also. Sunscreen should contain SPF of 30 or higher. Toner if used should be alcohol free.

Facts You Should Know About Oily Skin

It is important to know the reason behind oily skin. Excessive production of sebum causes oily skin. This causes clogging of pores and accumulation of dead cells which causes acne or pimples formation.

Therefore the fact behind oily skin care is to remove surplus sebum. However, the cleansing should not remove all the oil. Normally, cleansing of the oily skin should be carried out at least twice a day and in hot and humid conditions it should be even more frequent. However the cleansing should not be too frequent as it can make the skin too dry and as a rebound action the skin produces more oil. The cleanser to be used should contain salicylic acid as it slows down the production of sebum.

Generally, the products for oily skin are oil free. However one should check for the contents of the product. For minimally oily skin the products labeled as “suitable for all skin types” can be used but for extremely oily skin the products especially for oily skin should be used. The toners for oily skin are alcohol based however; toner should not be excessively used as it can harm the skin.

Moisturizers for oily skin may or may not be required. For too much oily skin moisturizer may not be required. If moisturizer has to be used then it should be oil free, lipid free and wax free. Clay mask can be used once in a week.

Individuals of oily skin should avoid used of creams, lotions and ointments in general. The skin care and beauty products if at all they are to be used they should be oil free.

Oily, greasy and fried foods like French fries should be avoided. Cheese containing foods like pizzas and fast foods also should be avoided by individuals of oily skin. Individuals having oily skin should avoid walking through restaurant and fast food kitchens and dirty subways.

A well balanced diet, drinking plenty of water, regular physical exercise, control over sun exposure and learning stress relaxation are good for health of skin in general.

Suitable products can be chosen only after trying a few. Over the counter vitamin A products are useful for oily skin care. Prescription products containing sulfur and retinoid are also available.
